Understanding the need for more racially and ethnically conscious and culturally responsive journal reporting standards, an international team of experts in psychology developed the APA Style Journal Article Reporting Standards for Race, Ethnicity, and Culture (JARS–REC). JARS–REC address the discussion of race, ethnicity, and culture in scientific manuscripts in the field of psychology research.
