STUDENTS
NEW FORMAT
There is now a single test record that includes basic information about the test, indexing information, and source citations of either APA PsycInfo® or APA PsycExtra® records where the test is used.
TEST TYPE
The Test Type field now indicates how the record relates to other records in the database. Test Type now has four possible designations: Original, Translation, Revision, or Subtest.
SOURCE CITATION
Source Citation now offers a list of citations when there are corresponding APA PsycInfo and APA PsycExtra records. Citations are labeled Development, Review, or Use, to indicate how the citation relates to the test described in the source.
In cases when multiple Source Citations exist, there is a new Source Used field which indicates which citation was used to create the bulk of the indexed information.
LANGUAGE
Language Present is a new field created as a companion to the Language Availability field. Language Present is the language of the test that is actually present in the source document. Language Available indicates the different languages in which the test is officially available.
METHODOLOGY
Users can filter searches by the Methodology field which indicates specific psychometric analyses or specific methodologies used in the test development process or usage of the test.
Records also now include different factors and subscales of a test in a new field, Factors/Subscales.
